Twenty-one Fleetway Publications 2000 A.D. and Judge Dredd Hardback Comic Annuals inc. 1978 Premiere Issue - A collection of twenty-one late 20th-century hardback comic annuals published by Fleetway Publications and IPC Magazines Ltd. The lot comprises thirteen 2000 A.D. annuals spanning 1978 to 1991, and eight Judge Dredd annuals from 1982 to 1990. Each volume is constructed with printed paper-covered boards. The front cover of the 1978 volume features colour-printed artwork depicting the character Dan Dare confronting a green winged alien. The spines are printed with the series titles and years in various typefaces and colours. A black oval cartouche on the front of the premiere issue reads 'A FLEETWAY ANNUAL'. The anthology series features prominent British science-fiction stories and characters. No other publisher marks or printer information are visible.
