Five Contemporary Old Tupton Ware Hand Painted Ceramic Figurines including Poppy and Hibiscus Patterns - Five contemporary Old Tupton Ware ceramic figurines, each featuring intricate hand-painted tube-lined decoration in a cloisonné style. The group includes two figure groups depicting a mother and child, both wearing long skirts decorated with large poppy blossoms in shades of red and purple against a textured brown ground. The collection also features a dancing girl in a vibrant hibiscus-patterned skirt set upon a rose-decorated base, a slender figure in a peacock-feather motif dress, and a smaller girl in a dress adorned with clusters of purple grapes. The base of the larger pieces features a black printed mark consisting of a crown above the words 'Old Tupton Ware' in script, followed by 'Hand Painted'. A small incised numeral '3' is visible on the unglazed foot rim. No other factory marks or signatures are evident on the remaining pieces.
