Bidspirit auction | Late 20th-Century Georgian Revival-Style Pine
Late 20th-Century Georgian Revival-Style Pine Wall Mirror - A large wall mirror constructed from solid pine, dating from the late 20th century. The frame is designed in a traditional Georgian revival style, featuring a prominent broken-arch or swan-neck pediment at the crest. This pediment is centered by a turned wooden finial and terminates in scrolled ends decorated with two carved circular floral rosettes. The rectangular mirror plate is set within a simple pine frame with a shaped upper edge that follows the curve of the cresting. The wood displays a light natural finish with characteristic knots and visible grain patterns throughout. No maker's marks, signatures, or manufacturer labels are visible on the front or sides of the frame.
