Late 20th-century E. W. Forshaw Oil on Board Railway Painting Depicting Black Five Locomotive 44871 - A late 20th-century representational railway painting by E. W. Forshaw, executed in oil on board and dated May 1971. The composition depicts an LMS Stanier Class 5 4-6-0 locomotive, popularly known as a 'Black Five', identified by the running number 44871 on its smoke box.
