Three Late 19th Century-style Items Inc, a Patinated Metal Sculpture and Two Brass Candlesticks - A group of three decorative items comprising a patinated metal sculpture and two brass candlesticks. The sculpture, likely cast in spelter with a dark brown and green patinated finish, depicts a standing female allegorical figure in classical-style drapery. She is rendered with her left arm raised aloft and her right hand resting at her side, holding a painter's palette. The figure stands upon an integral, tiered circular base. No artist signatures or foundry marks are visible on the metalwork. The two brass candlesticks are designed in a Neoclassical style, each featuring a fluted columnar stem rising from a square, ornate base. The bases are decorated in relief with classical masks centred within foliate scrollwork. The square nozzles feature matching borders. No maker's marks or hallmarks are visible on either piece.
