The lot includes a US one-dollar bill and a Netherlands 10 Guilder note. The Netherlands note is printed in blue and white with a portrait of Frans Hals, featuring serial number 2140790760 and the printer's mark JOH. ENSCHEDE EN ZONEN IMP. The coin selection features British pre-decimal denominations, including nickel-brass three-pence pieces with thrift plant and portcullis reverses, a 1948 cupro-nickel sixpence inscribed FID DEF IND IMP, and a bronze penny depicting seated Britannia. A small bag contains six British silver three-pence coins, accompanied by a handwritten note on a white slip reading 3 penny pieces silver (6). Also included are US Roosevelt dimes and Jefferson nickels, alongside a large unidentified bronze coin exhibiting heavy green patination.
