Late 20th-Century Credit Suisse 1g fine gold ingot wristwatch - A late 20th-century novelty wristwatch featuring a central 1g fine gold ingot set within the dial. The rectangular black dial is dominated by a miniature gold bar embossed with Credit Suisse, Fine Gold, 999.9, and the serial number 029140, along with the Chi assay mark and the words Essayeur Fondeur. The gold-plated base metal bezel is engraved with Roman numeral hour markers and houses a two-hand movement. The watch is fitted with a textured black leather strap and a gold-tone pin buckle, with the reverse of the strap marked with the number 20. The stainless steel case back is stamped with the reference number 6669 and the legends Base Metal Bezel and Stainless Steel Back.
