Three Vintage Chrome Plated and Base Metal Mechanical Pocket Watches Including Ingersoll - A trio of vintage manual wind pocket watches, featuring two examples by the American-founded brand Ingersoll. The first watch features a two-tone tuxedo style dial with an off-white centre and black outer ring, displaying Arabic numerals and a small seconds sub-dial at the six o'clock position; the dial is printed Ingersoll below the twelve o'clock position. The second watch is a black-dialled military style timepiece in a patinated base metal case, featuring bold Arabic numerals and the text Shockproofer above the six o'clock position and Made below. The third watch is an Ingersoll example with a black dial and luminescent Arabic numerals, featuring a small seconds sub-dial and printed Made in Gt. Britain at the lower edge. All three watches are fitted with acrylic crystals and show strong fluorescence on the hands and numerals under UV light, consistent with the use of vintage luminescent material. No serial numbers or movement calibres are visible without opening the cases.
