Arts and Crafts White Metal Brooch and Sterling Silver Jewellery Including Bangle - A small assortment of silver and white metal jewellery, featuring an Arts and Crafts style brooch and sterling silver items. The brooch is crafted from hand-hammered white metal in a triangular form with repoussé and stippled decoration, inset with a large oval cabochon of purple and white speckled ceramic or enamel. The reverse is fitted with a simple pin and C-clasp. The sterling silver bangle features a detachable oval centrepiece bezel-set with a banded, amber-toned stone that appears to be tiger's eye. The interior of the bangle is struck with four marks: the initials 'RW' in a rectangular shield, a Tudor rose representing the Sheffield assay office, a lion passant indicating sterling silver purity, and a date letter 'C' in a square shield. Also included is a pair of sterling silver drop earrings in the form of leaping stags, presented in a clear plastic case printed with 'STERLING SILVER'. The lot is accompanied by two vintage presentation boxes, one lined in cream satin and printed in gold with 'E.A. BARKER LTD City, E.C.3.', the other printed with 'CARRICK Scotland'.
