Approx. 27 Vintage and Mid-Century Costume Jewellery Brooches Including Cloisonne Enamel and Cameos - A collection of approximately 27 vintage and mid-century costume jewellery brooches, encompassing a variety of styles from Art Deco influences to Victorian-revival designs. The lot includes a prominent circular cloisonne enamel brooch decorated with a red floral and foliate motif against a cobalt blue ground, and a large light blue enameled flower brooch featuring a central blue faceted rhinestone. Figural pieces are well represented, featuring a dark-toned metal Eiffel Tower, a small gold-tone umbrella, a silver-tone swallow in flight, and various butterfly forms set with glass stones. The collection also contains two shell-style cameos depicting female profiles in relief, several marcasite-style floral and foliate sprays, and various rhinestone-set clusters in clear, blue, and pink tones. Notable is a large ornate filigree brooch set with a central blue glass cabochon. Materials include base metals in gold and silver tones, enamel, glass rhinestones, faux pearls, and a polished brown stone cabochon, possibly agate.
