Two Art Deco Amber Pressed Glass and Ceramic Vessels Including Arthur Wood Wall Pocket - Two decorative Art Deco vessels dating to the mid-20th century. The first is a trumpet-form vase crafted from amber-coloured pressed glass, featuring a relief-moulded figure of a semi-clad classical woman holding a floral bundle against a fluted ground. The vessel terminates in a scalloped rim and a stepped circular base. The second is an Arthur Wood earthenware wall pocket of geometric, stepped form. It is decorated with hand-painted orange floral blooms, green foliage, and a black spiderweb motif, with the stepped edges highlighted in a silver-toned lustre trim. The reverse is incised with the words MADE IN ENGLAND and bears a black printed backstamp featuring a globe symbol and banner reading ARTHUR WOOD. No maker marks are visible on the glass vase.
