Assorted Ceramics and Framed Artworks including Peter Rabbit Mugs and Neoclassical Relief Plaque - An assortment of decorative ceramics and framed items. The ceramic collection comprises a variety of earthenware and porcelain mugs and cups featuring diverse transfer-printed designs. Notable examples include several pieces decorated with scenes from Beatrix Potter's Peter Rabbit, a cup featuring a Holly Hobbie style figure, and a novelty lidded pot, dubbed ”Mr. Tea,” formed as a character face with a prominent red nose and green glaze. Also included is a set of four sky-blue glazed tea cups stacked upon a white ceramic plate decorated with a polychrome floral and wheat spray motif. The lot is further enhanced by several framed artworks, most prominently a rectangular bas-relief plaque, possibly cast plaster or parian, depicting a neoclassical scene with draped figures, housed in a heavily ornate gilt-composition rococo-style frame with scroll and shell motifs. Other framed pieces include examples in dark wood and simple gilt finishes. No maker's marks, backstamps, or artist signatures are clearly legible on the surfaces shown.
