Vintage Michelob Neon Bar Advertising Sign - A vintage Michelob neon bar advertising sign, likely dating from the 1980s. The commercial promotional piece features white neon glass tubing forming the brand name Michelob in a cursive script. This lettering is mounted over a red plastic and metal housing shaped as a stylized ribbon, which contains red-tinted neon tubing tracing the outline of the Anheuser-Busch eagle and A logo. The entire assembly is supported by a black painted metal armature, which houses the high-voltage electrical transformer at the base. A blue and white adhesive label is affixed to the inner metal frame, featuring a central circular logo surrounded by the text UNION MADE and small print reading REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.. Below the logo is the printed serial number P 091967022. No other maker marks or manufacturer labels are visible.
