Three Contemporary Cast Iron Doorstops Including Rooster and Locomotive - Three contemporary cast iron decorative items, likely manufactured in the late 20th-century as reproductions of traditional Victorian-style metalware. The group includes a large flat-backed rooster doorstop, featuring a high-relief casting with a textured feathered body painted in polychrome shades of red, yellow, orange, and dark green, mounted on a scrolled base with gold-painted highlights. Also included is a three-dimensional figure of a kingfisher, painted in blue-green and orange tones, perched upon a silver-coloured stump set into a circular green base. The final piece is a flat-backed steam locomotive doorstop, modelled as a 4-4-0 type American-style engine, finished in red and black paint with gold-coloured accents to the domes and handrails. No foundry marks, maker's names, or country-of-origin stamps are visible on any of the pieces.
