The piece is constructed from a mahogany-stained hardwood, likely birch or beech, featuring solid panel ends surmounted by rounded bolster-style handles. The vertical supports are joined by a single, low-profile rectangular stretcher. The stool is fitted with a fixed, drop-in padded seat upholstered in a tapestry-style fabric featuring a central stylized saddled elephant within a floral and geometric border, rendered in coral, ochre, and sage green tones. The underside of the seat and the exterior wooden surfaces bear no visible maker's marks, labels, or stamps.
