Early 20th-Century Style Ford Motor Company Polished Metal Advertising Sign - A circular relief-moulded metal advertising sign featuring the early winged script branding for the Ford Motor Company. The piece is constructed from a heavy-gauge polished metal, likely aluminium, with a high-contrast black paint fill in the recessed background areas. The central text is embossed in a stylized serif script reading FORD MOTOR CO. with the location DETROIT, - MICH. - positioned below. The design is framed by an ornate scrolling decorative border in the Art Nouveau style, consistent with the logo used by the company between 1903 and 1910. The reverse of the sign features a plain brushed metal finish. No manufacturer marks or date stamps are visible on the front or rear surfaces.
