Art Deco Decoro and Persian Pattern Losol Ware Ewer and Chamber Pot - A collection of English Art Deco and transfer-printed earthenware including pieces from the Decoro range and a matching washstand set. The Decoro group comprises a large bulbous jardiniere, a small globular vase, and a pair of twin-handled candlesticks with flared bases. These pieces are finished in a mottled dark teal and black ground, hand-painted with a stylized Art Deco floral pattern featuring large poppies and foliage in russet, purple, and green tones. One piece retains an orange paper label printed with DECORO in a rectangular frame above ENGLAND and REGD NO 698047. The second group consists of a large wash jug with a scrolled handle and a single-handled chamber pot, both decorated in a Persian-style pattern. The design features exotic peacocks and birds amongst stylized fruit trees and floral sprays, finished with a blue geometric and scroll border to the rims. The jug rim is finished with a gold-coloured gilt edge. No further maker's marks or backstamps are visible on the washstand set.
