CHINESE BRONZE "ELEPHANT" TRIPOD CENSER WITH EUROPEAN MAN
Ca. 18th century AD. A Chinese bronze elephant tripod censer and reticulated cover. The body is casted in the form of an inverted bell supported by three elephant-head feet, each with tusks and harnesses, with lotus scrolls decorating the body.
