Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC.A Late Period Egyptian Uraeus bronze amulet. Amulets representing animals were attributed to a deity: a hawk for Ra, the Sun God, a lion for Sekhmet, the War Goddess, a cobra (Uraeus) for Wadjet, an ancient goddess associated with royalty.
