MEDIEVAL IRON DAGGER BLADE
Ca. AD 1100 - 1300.An iron dagger with a long blade and an exposed tang without a pommel a the end. Now missing. The blade has a prominent midrib that runs to the tapering tip. The tang may have been inlaid with wood or bone at one time to form the hilt.Size: L:455mm / W:40mm ; 210gProvenance: Property of a European collector; ex. German collection formed between 1990-2010.
