Ca. 19th century ADAn Islamic-Turkish sword with a characteristic doubled-eared silver hilt decorated with repoussé and engraving. The blade is re-curved with a single edge and features gold inlay cartouches and Arabic inscriptions on either side.Size: L: 26 1/2 in., (67 cm); 635gProvenance: Property of a Central London Gallery, acquired on the US art market.
