The sword is made from Damascus steel, a form of metal crafting known for producing items with wavy patterns and superior strength. It is created via a process called pattern welding, which involves layering and forging together multiple strips of steel and iron.Size: 545mm x 35mm; Weight: 285gProvenance: Private London collection, acquired on the European art market prior 2000.
