Han Dynasty, Ca. 202 BC - AD 220A fine Chinese terracotta dog. The figure is standing, with head held upwards and mouth slightly open. The piece is painted with black pigments. This piece has been precisely dated using a Thermo Luminescence analysis carried out by Ralf Kotalla. The report will accompany the lot.Size: 485mm x 400mm; Weight: 4.08kgProvenance: UK private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
