Ca. AD 1800-1900.A rectangular brass pen-box with rounded ends, inlaid with copper and silver, with functioning clasp-operated lid. The lid and exterior are decorated around each side with a series of elongated cartouches of calligraphy in interlocked elegant thulth script.
