New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, Ca. 1353 - 1322 BC.A remarkable sandstone low relief from the Amarna period. A pharaoh, probably Amenhotep IV / Akhenaton, is depicted with a crowned head, arms, and body in profile, worshipping the rays of the god Aton. This well-defined sculpture features clear boundary lines and a homogeneous depth of engraving.
