New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A collection of 16 blue faience amulets. Each amulet depicts Bes, the dwarf god, playing a tambourine. Bes is shown in his right profile, with legs slightly bent and hands raised to hold the tambourine. A suspension loop is situated above his head.
