Ca. AD 619 - 907.A pair of terracotta figures of fat ladies, each standing on an irregularly shaped base and wearing a full-length, beautifully decorated dress. Both hands are raised to the chest. The faces are finely detailed, featuring highlighted cheeks and carefully arranged hair.Size: 220-230mm x 72-72mm; Weight: 710g.Provenance: UK private collection; formerly acquired in the early 1990s in Hong Kong. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
