GREEK HYDRIA DEPICTING AN OFFERING SCENE
Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A black-glazed hydria decorated in the red-figure technique, with a tapered body, narrow neck, and flared, downward-sloping rim. The vessel is equipped with three handles: two horizontal side handles for lifting and one vertical handle at the back for pouring. One side displays a scene with two draped female figures flanking a tall altar. The figure on the left holds an offering dish.
