GREEK BLACK GLAZE DISH WITH STAMPED DECORATIONS
Ca. 400 - 300 BC. A black-glazed dish with a wide, flaring rim, a shallow bowl, and a stepped ring foot. The interior has a stamped decoration of radiating motifs forming concentric bands within the basin. The outer rim bears a continuous frieze of impressed circles with dots.Size: 45mm x 130mm; Weight: 170gProvenance: Private UK collection, acquired on the Dutch art market; previously acquired on the Dutch art market; Frederik Van Driel, Maastricht 1993.
