PAIR OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE PENDANTS
New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A pair of faience pendants in turquoise-green glaze. The pendant on the left is modelled as a cluster of grapes, with a rounded, tapering form and a series of raised nodules. A small gold loop is affixed at the top for suspension. The pendant on the right has a vertically ribbed, conical shape with a pierced suspension hole running transversely through the upper section.
