Tang Dynasty, Ca. AD 618 - 907. A silver box delicately chased with swirling scrolls, stylised foliage, and a bird in flight; likely used as a container for cosmetics or precious substances. Size: 40mm x 25mm; Weight: 20g. Provenance: Private London collection; Ex Yoshitomo Minamoto Collection. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
