CHINESE BLUE GLAZED SQUARE VASE
Mid-Late period, Qing dynasty, Ca. AD 1644-1912. A square vase of archaistic hu form, the angular body rising from a gently spreading circular foot to a waisted neck and flared rim, applied with a pair of stylised animal mask handles to the sides, the entire surface covered in a deep sacrificial blue glaze. Size: 300mm x 160mm; Weight: 3.01kg. Provenance: Private UK Collection. This item has been cleared against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
