SMALL CHINESE YIXING TEAPOT, LU LU BAO WAN MARK 陸盧寶玩 - Qing Dynasty, Ca. AD 1644 - 1912. >A Yixing stoneware teapot of compact, globular form, the rounded body rising to a gently domed cover surmounted by a small knop finial. The spout projects in a soft, angular curve, balanced by a loop handle of elegant proportion. The surface is covered in a rich, warm reddish-brown tone, with a subtly mottled texture that enhances the tactile quality of the clay.
