NEPALESE WOODEN MASK OF BODHISATTVA - Ca. 16th century AD, or earlier. > A finely carved wooden mask depicting a bodhisattva, rendered with serene expression and downcast eyes. The face is softly modelled with rounded cheeks, a gentle smile, and elongated earlobes, conveying a sense of calm introspection and spiritual presence. The figure wears a tall, elaborately carved headdress, with incised detailing suggesting foliate or jewelled ornament.
