GROUP OF TIBETAN RITUAL OBJECTS, BRONZE VAJRA AND BELL - Ca. 18th - 19th century AD. > A group of Tibetan ritual implements comprising a bronze bell (ghanta) and two vajras (dorje), each cast and richly detailed, forming an essential set used in Vajrayana Buddhist practice. The bell features a flared body with a band of cast ornament, surmounted by a handle in the form of a half-vajra, terminating in a pronged finial. The handle is finely detailed with stylised lotus and vajra motifs, while the bell’s body displays a warm patina consistent with age and ritual use.
