GROUP OF THREE INDIAN BRONZE FIGURES - VISHNU, DEVI AND ANNAPURNA - Ca. 18th-19th century AD. A refined group of three South Indian bronze figures depicting Vishnu, Devi, and Annapurna. The left figure portrays Vishnu, the preserver and protector of the universe, shown standing upright with a calm and dignified expression. He holds his attributes and wears a tall conical crown and ornate jewellery, reflecting divine majesty and grace. At the centre stands Devi, the embodiment of the divine feminine energy. She is elegantly cast, adorned with intricate ornaments and a tall headdress. The right figure represents Annapurna, the goddess of nourishment, seated in a composed posture and holding a ladle, symbolising her role as the provider of food and abundance - a powerful image of sustenance and generosity.Size: 70-115mm x 40-50mm; Weight: 570gProvenance: Private UK Collection.
