TWO JAPANESE TSUBA, SIGNED NOBUIE AND ANONYMOUS - Edo Period, Ca. 18th-19th century AD. A group of two tsuba: an iron mokko-gata tsuba with a moulded surface and raised domed bosses in relief, attributed to the Nobuie school, known for its bold simplicity and powerful modelling. A cloisonné enamel tsuba decorated in vibrant turquoise, red, green, and yellow enamels, the surface finely inlaid with scrolling floral motifs and roundels enclosing stylised crests (mon).
