TWO MINIATURE MASKS - Ca. late 19th - early 20th century AD. > A group comprising two carved miniature masks of contrasting type. One has a pale face, the features softly modelled with downcast eyes and small mouth, the lower section fitted with a dense fibre beard. The second mask of elongated oval form, carved in darker wood with a smooth, polished surface, the face bisected by a subtle medial ridge and defined by almond-shaped eyes and a narrow nose. > Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
