GROUP OF DAN PASSPORT MASKS - Ca. late 19th - early 20th century AD. > A group comprising three carved wooden miniature masks, each of elongated oval form with stylised facial features. The group includes examples with deeply set almond-shaped eyes, prominent triangular or ridged noses, and incised scarification marks across the cheeks and forehead. One retains traces of fibre attachment at the chin, suggesting suspension or wear. > Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
