LUBA WOODEN CUP - Ca. late 19th - early 20th century AD. > A cup carved in wood, the vessel of rounded bowl form raised on a stepped circular foot, with a curved handle joining the body to the base. The bowl is decorated with a rectangular panel of finely incised linear grooves, while the base is further embellished with inscribed geometric motifs. The rim is set with a series of small brass nails. > Provenance: Prince collection, 1990s-2014; Ex.
