ETRUSCAN GOLD SWIVEL RING WITH GLASS SCARABOID OF A LION - Ca. 400 BC. A gold swivel ring with a slender, tapering hoop and an oval frame set between its wire-wrapped ends, enclosing a green glass scaraboid. At the rear of the hoop is a polygonal element with filigree collars, surmounted by a large knop. One face of the scaraboid is plain and convex.
