BYZANTINE GOLD CROSS PENDANT WITH GARNET AND PEARLS - Ca. AD 500 - 700. A gold cross pendant with flaring arms centred by a garnet in a raised circular mount. Small rounded projections flank each arm. Three arms terminate in loops with pearl drops, with a suspension loop above. For similar see: J.
