HEAVY VIKING GOLD BRACELET WITH HEART-SHAPED FINIALS - Ca. AD 900 - 1000. A gold penannular bracelet with a hoop made from spiral twisted wire. The ends expand into large heart-shaped sheet gold finials, each bordered by ropework. Clusters of gold granules decorate the pointed outer ends and the inner curves. Size: 65mm x 77mm; Weight: 64g Provenance: Private London collection; previously part of a long-standing private family collection assembled between the 1960s and 2000.
