EGYPTIAN STEATITE SCARAB WITH CARTOUCHE OF TUTANKHAMUN IN GOLD SWIVEL RING - New Kingdom, Ca. 1333 - 1323 BC. A steatite scarab with a carved semi-circular head, notched clypeus, plain thorax, and divided wing cases. The underside is engraved with the cartouche of Tutankhamun. Set in a possibly later gold swivel ring with a round-section hoop and a transverse pivot secured by capped terminals. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA49752.
