EGYPTIAN OR PHOENICIAN GOLD PENDANT WITH GREEN STONE SCARAB ENGRAVED WITH A HIEROGLYPHIC INSCRIPTION - Ca. 600 - 400 BC. A gold pendant with wire-wrapped arms and a suspension loop above a beaded collar, set with a green stone scarab carved with a stylised head and elytra divided by triple lines, the underside engraved with a hieroglyphic inscription.
