EGYPTIAN BRONZE MASK OF KHONSU WITH HEMHEM CROWN - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A bronze mask of Khonsu with a red glass inlay face framed by a nemes headdress with a frontal uraeus. The god has recessed almond-shaped eyes, arched brows, a straight nose, small ears, and a slightly smiling mouth. He wears a hemhem crown formed of a pair of curved ram's horns supporting three tall atef-like elements with solar discs above. Two uraei flank the crown, with curved horns projecting outward below.
