EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF WEPWAPET - Third Intermediate Period to Late Period, Ca. 700 - 332 BC. A bronze figurine of a jackal standing on slender legs, with an elongated body and a long tapering muzzle. The head has tall, pointed ears, incised almond-shaped eyes, and a narrow collar around the neck. The tail falls along the back of the right hind leg, with fine incised lines marking the fur.
