RARE ROMAN ROCK CRYSTAL BICONICAL VESSEL WITH SILVER LID AND CHAIN - Ca. AD 1 - 300. A rock crystal vessel with a biconical body on a short ring foot, the broad mouth closed by a silver lid with a shallow central boss. Three loops at the rim of the lid are linked by silver chains converging at a single ring above.
