Manuscript by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. of a childish floor plan for an imaginative synagogue.

Pencil-written floor-plan in German and Hebrew in a child's hand, depicting the layout of the synagogue in Baden, the seating arrangements of the Carlebach family, and a list of "Kibudim:"- honors.

The chazan for Musaf is noted as Shlomo-le  and his twin brother Eli-Chaim ("Elele") is to be chazan for Ein Kamocha. Others mentioned are: Mannes Wikler, Bubi and Fredi Schabes, Sini and Heini Fruchter, Beno and Saki Liberman, Bunjo and Mosi Milrom. Written on the reverse of a folio-sized form of the Israel. Cultusgemeinde, Baden

His first cousin Rabbi Arthur Cohen fell sick then as a child, so Reb Shlomo drew & sent him this plan to cheer him up.

Born in Berlin in 1925, Shlomo Carlebach and his family moved in 1931 to Baden, a spa town a few miles south of Vienna where his father was Rabbi, before leaving for Switzerland in 1933 and ultimately settling in New York City in 1939

An amazing piece of history by an iconic Jewish music legend.
