The Gaon Rabbi Dovid Feinstein (1929-2020), was the eldest son of Rabbi Moshe Feinstein whom he succeeded as Rosh Yeshiva in Mesivta Tiferes Yerusholayim. He was world famous as one of the generations preeminent Poskim, as well as a legendary Ba’al Chesed. Totally unpretentious, he lived in the Lower East Side in the utmost simplicity.
